Moving together
Moving is more fun when everyone joins in.
The Checkpoint Challenge turns any route into a group experience, whether on foot, by bike or in hiking boots: scan QR codes along the way, compare times live and reach the finish together. Even when the network drops out.
- Running
- Cycling
- Hiking
- Skating
- Paddling
- and whatever you like
Exercise that connects
The challenge turns a route into a shared experience, for teams, clubs, companies and groups of friends.
Together, not alone
Every challenge is a reason to get moving together. Whether two of you or 30 people: everyone starts together and cheers each other on.
Fun before personal bests
The leaderboard adds excitement, but the experience comes first. Discovering checkpoints feels like a scavenger hunt.
Everyone can join in
Hiking, running, cycling or another sport entirely: everyone moves at their own pace and still sees where the group is right now.
How a challenge works
Four steps, no account: every group can get started right away.
-
Scan your bib number
At the start, everyone scans their personal code. The phone remembers the number.
-
Head out together
The map shows the route and the next checkpoint, so nobody has to search for the way.
-
Scan the checkpoints
Scan the QR code at every station. Time and position are recorded instantly.
-
Cheer each other on
Participants, helpers and spectators see the rankings live and cheer along.
What the challenge can do
Built for groups of around 30 people who can't count on a network along the way.
Live leaderboard
Rankings and progress update in real time, without reloading.
Spectator link
Family and friends cheer along live, without logging in and without scanning.
Works offline
Scans are stored on the phone and sent automatically as soon as there is a network again.
GPS check
A scan only counts near the station. Forwarded photos won't help.
Fair times
Unusual sections are flagged after the run. Fast participants are not suspected, only breaks in their own pace.
Map with GPX route
The route and all checkpoints appear on a map, added in the admin area as a GPX file.
Your branding
Logo and colours per event, plus your own address such as autumn-run-2026.your-domain.com.
Overview for organisers
Who is on the way, who has finished, where is someone stuck? Secured with multi-factor login.
What it looks like
One main action per screen, large text, few distractions. Made for phones on the move.
Branding per event
Every event gets its own look
You set the logo, colours and even the names of the checkpoints for each event. Plain timekeeping becomes, for example, an animal hunt for children where they find the fox den, the wolf cave and the owl tree.
- Your own colours and logo
- Your own names instead of numbers for the checkpoints
- Your own address, e.g. animal-hunt.your-domain.com
